Plymouth, MN (October 2013) – EMC knows their customers and they are experts in lighting efficiency. They’ve worked collaboratively with customers to save 1 billion kilowatt hours of energy – the equivalent of 760 thousand tons of CO2 emission. That’s enough to shut down a coal plant, with a capacity of 294 MW for six months!

In addition to featuring research results from its multi-industry lighting study, EMC will share their EnergyMAXX(SM) model with Workshop attendees.

EnergyMAXX is an approach that maximizes customer results in each project phase, from initial planning through installation, bringing an immediate, positive impact to their bottom line.

“We often see bottom line energy and cost savings that are hard to spot unless you have a team of experts consistently auditing your environment. That’s why we developed our EnergyMAXX model – so that companies can take advantage of our experience,” said Jerry Johnson, EMC president and CEO.

Visitors to EMC Booth 604 can also schedule a complimentary site audit and analysis savings review and learn about their innovative EnergyMAXX model, which includes:

  • Portfolio prioritization and management
  • Design services and procurement
  • Project management and installation
  • Rebated and EPAct document management
  • Service and maintenance contracts

The EEI National Key Accounts Workshop is a customer-oriented workshop where leading multi-site customers and electric utility account representatives collaborate to develop efficient energy management strategies that can be integrated into facilities nationwide.
