Energy Management Collaborative (EMC) today announced its corporate sponsorship of the 2014 3M Championship, which takes place July 28 - August 3, 2014, at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, MN. An event sponsor since 2006, EMC will cohost the 18th Hole Skybox.

Minnesota’s largest professional sports-related charity, the 3M Championship benefits the United Hospital Foundation, which supports Twin Cities Allina hospitals including United, Abbott Northwestern, Mercy and Unity. Now in its 21st year, the 3M Championship raised $1.3 million in 2013 and more than $21 million to date.

As part of the Champions Tour, this professional golf tournament attracts the biggest names in the sport. This year Jack Nicklaus will make his 3M Championship debut in the Post-It® Products Greats of Golf Competition. Also scheduled to appear are Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, Johnny Miller and Dave Stockton, Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam.

“The 3M Championship is an excellent way to join other local businesses in giving back to the community that is home to EMC’s headquarters,” said EMC President & CEO Jerry Johnson. “In addition, there is no better opportunity to enjoy professional golf—up close and personal—with our employees and business partners.”
