Power of Partnering Part II

No topics.

Last quarter this blog focused on foundational ideas and my intent in driving the value of our partnership forward. Keys to this are continuing your role in supporting EMC's core values through your actions and building better partnerships by keeping the lines of communication open concerning improvements.

Since then we have done three things that support overall objectives:

  1. We increased access to and engagement with our quality team members, which has increased the quality of our results and sped resolution of field issues to help avoid downstream costs and issues.
  2. We finalized a national lift program with United Rentals that will level the playing field for equipment costs across the nation and help us be more competitive in our customer bids.
  3. We are testing a new model for bundling project activity within geographies to our shared advantage. This will better leverage fixed cost items in our pricing like travel, lifts, dumpsters and recycling.

I am excited to continue increasing our collective competitiveness in the market in 2021. By all accounts we provide a better process to our partners and, with you, a better service to our customers. That said, I know that it can be improved and yield even greater results at lower overall costs.

I know that the time we spend together to focus on greater efficiency and effectiveness, in both our respective and shared processes, will drive a more competitive position in our pricing while also allowing all organizations to realize bottom line and top line business goals.

A new tiered labor partner network will also help us optimize the relationship and business opportunity with each partner by aligning our efforts with your capacity, capabilities, coverage and performance history.

As a part of this performance tracking activity, we are introducing a feedback process to gather your valuable input concerning our performance and internal improvements we should consider.

Partnership comes from shared risk and shared success. I look forward to continuing our work together in 2021 to experience both with you.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss our partnership and how you feel we can improve things in 2021.
