An EMC founder, Jerry took the company from initial concept to a strong, dynamic and well respected company. Prior to EMC Jerry was president and CEO of Datacard Group and served as vice president and general manager of the Power Generation Americas division of Cummins.
Recognized as a 2015 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, Jerry is also a Bush Leadership Fellowship award winner. He earned his MBA from the Stanford Sloan Program and holds a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of North Dakota. A National Association of Corporate Directors member, Jerry has served as a United Way Key Executive and board member for Junior Achievement of the Midwest.
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
An entrepreneur not afraid to take risks and a skilled leader who embraces the challenges of a high growth company, Megan guides EMC’s financial success by managing EMC’s finance and sourcing departments and overseeing its information technology efforts, including enterprise resource planning.
Prior to EMC, Megan worked in the retail industry for L.S. Distributing and later co-founded discount tool business H&M Tool Company, which included retail and wholesale distribution. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business from Saint Mary's University.
Vice President, Operations
An experienced Fortune 500 leader in operations and finance, Lori guides EMC’s project management, service delivery and quality initiatives.
Prior to joining the company in 2016, Lori spent almost 20 years as Target Corporation’s vice president of store facility operations, where she led over 2,000 employees and managed over 500 vendors as a part of her duties. Lori started her career as a CPA for Ernst & Young and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
Director, Customer Solutions
As an EMC project auditor and later project manager and sales manager, Derek brings extensive customer experience, new business development and sales experience to the leadership he provides EMC.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management in bio-based management and marketing.
Chief Information Officer
With his extensive knowledge of Oracle ERP systems, IT consulting experience and software development expertise, Russ provides critical leadership for EMC’s IoT offerings and maximizes efficiencies and performance improvement within EMC’s business operations.
Previously, Russ worked as a management consulting director at KPMG where he led business intelligence and analytics implementations for large multi-national corporations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Minnesota.
Director, Market Development
An original EMC employee, John’s broad business background allowed him to oversee and support many parts of EMC’s business as it has grown.
In his market development role, he will leverage his extensive experience with national utilities, EMC customers, partners and energy efficiency markets more broadly to research and support strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining EMC, John spent 19 years in sales, marketing and IT positions with Datacard Group. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN.
A strategic planner with significant retail and sourcing experience, Eric puts his experience sourcing and buying all lighting and electrical equipment for Target to work at EMC providing national account leadership for EMC clients nationwide.
He has also demonstrated his LED lighting expertise as a conference speaker and television news program contributor. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree from Bethel University.
Vice President, Sales
An entrepreneurial leader, Gary has 35+ years experience building new businesses and developing markets both domestically and globally.
His extensive background includes roles leading national sales organizations, overseeing customer services and managing vendor/partnership relationships for organizations including Level 3 Communications, Time Warner Telecom and Cargill. Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamline University.
After holding progressive roles in finance, Bob joined EMC in 2013 as Controller. In this role he leveraged his invaluable job costing expertise, financial acumen and management experience.
As EMC’s director of finance, Bob will oversee all areas of the Finance department including financial statements, job cost, cash flow and financial metrics reporting.
Prior to joining EMC, Bob spent seven years at Corval Group, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
In this role, Peter drives efficiencies and cost savings for EMC customers by reducing material and labor costs while maintaining quality and strong vendor partnerships.
Previously, Peter was a global sourcing director at Target where he led large teams and provided strategic direction, drove negotiations and elevated the performance of vendors.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Economics.
