Trade Ally. Perhaps you’ve heard the term, but what does it mean and why is it important to you? Utilities nationwide have developed numerous trade ally networks for their energy efficiency programs.
As we have seen this year, many programs are running out of funds sooner than expected - and much earlier than in previous years.
When participating in energy efficiency programs, we often see the terms “rebates” and “incentives.” Many times, these terms are used interchangeably and it’s often assumed they share the same meaning. However, they are not synonymous and it is important you know how they differ.
As predicted earlier this year, we’ve seen many programs announce that their funding is already exhausted for 2016.
